Sue Cepin, along with her husband, Pastor Eric, is a charter member of The Village. In addition to her role as her husband’s most important support beam, Sue has been a prayer warrior, a contributor of her art, the glue keeping our worship bands going, and has served on the Leadership Team all 16 years of The Village’s existence.
Praying over people in groups has shaped Sue’s understanding of discipleship. She has seen God speak into people’s lives through the gathering of believers, and has also seen His tender care for His children and has watched miracles unfold afterward. These experiences have led Sue to believe that, while we should create effective structures for discipleship, we are unable to equip or transform people without vulnerably pursuing God’s involvement.
Susan, Eric, and their two kids Ashton (16) and Elliott (11) live in community with another Village family at Seneca House. Sue’s habit of cooking her way through various recipe collections comes in quite handy there. She also really enjoys hanging out with her hubby and kids, likes to periodically find artistic or handcraft endeavors to dive into, and spends 20 hours per week at a part-time job at University of Arizona.
